The DIY Book Charm Bar - Saturday, 10/17/26

Create your own custom book, bookmark & e-reader charms!

Saturday, October 17 | 7–9 PM

The Book Club | $20 per person

Your books and Kindle deserve a little accessorizing!

Join us at The Book Club for a night of beads, charms, books, and all things cute! We're transforming our café into a DIY charm bar where you can mix, match, and create your very own custom accessories for your books, bookmarks, Kindles, and other e-readers.

Whether you love a perfectly coordinated aesthetic or believe there's no such thing as too many charms, this night is for you!

What's included with your $20 ticket?

• A mystery charm bag! Every guest gets a blind-draw bag containing two surprise cute charms, a bookish keychain, and a bookish sticker.

• Access to our DIY bead & chain bar! Browse our selection of beads, chains, and supplies to design your own custom creations. We'll provide all the tools you need, and no crafting experience is necessary!

• A metal bookmark and adhesive hook! You'll receive both so you can decide how to use your creations. Make a charm you can swap between accessories, create multiple designs, or stick with one perfect combination.

• Two hours of bookish crafting fun! Hang out with fellow book lovers, get creative, and leave with something adorable that you made yourself.

Plus, shop two special guest vendors!

Timeless Main is bringing a huge selection of character charms, kawaii accessories, stickers, and more at seriously affordable prices! Perfect for finding those extra-special charms to add to your creations.

Shelby Made Me Read It will be joining us with her collection of bookish accessories, annotation kits, and other goodies. You may also recognize Shelby from the book club events she hosts right here at The Book Club!

The café & bookstore will be open!

What's a bookish craft night without a little caffeine and something sweet?

Our full espresso bar and bakery will be open throughout the event, with a barista on hand to make your favorite drinks, including everything from our seasonal menu!

We'll also have our delicious scratch-made pastries and treats available for purchase.

And yes, you're welcome to browse the bookstore while you're here! Find your next read and check out with our barista.

Come for the charms, stay for the books!

Bring your creativity, your bookish bestie, and maybe even your Kindle so you can accessorize it on the spot.
