Nicaragua Plum Sauce Whole Bean Coffee 10oz by Valor Coffee
From Sabino and Maria Jesus to you, a full bodied and nuanced microlot Nicaraguan coffee.
Sabino and Maria Jesus produce coffee on their farm, La Fuente, in Jinotega, Nicaragua. La Fuente is a place where tradition still guides the work—Sabino and Maria Jesus use oxen to plow their fields before planting, honoring methods passed down through generations. This careful, deliberate approach to farming translates beautifully into the cup. You'll experience soft pear and citrus highs that lift and brighten, complemented by a surprisingly full-bodied mouthfeel. This one is an absolute must-try green box.
Green Box: Green Box coffees are those we find to be round, chocolatey, and sweet, with a pleasant yet tamed acidity. Often featuring washed Central or South American beans, these coffees are versatile all-arounders, performing beautifully whether brewed on filter or espresso. We frequently serve these coffees on drip at our cafe because they can hold up well to a touch of cream while still tasting vibrant when enjoyed black.
To preserve freshness, we recommend storing all coffees in airtight containers and consuming them within 30 days. However, if stored properly, you can still achieve quality results up to 60 days off roast.
