Valor’s staple blend and house espresso. A medium roast with excellent body that always gives notes of chocolate with fruity undertones.
This would be our “desert island” coffee. Our staple bean is always consistent (like a free-throw should be), but hits like a slam dunk. Currently a blend of a chocolatey Peru, a vibrant Colombian and an anaerobic natural Kenyan, this coffee always fills the same role on our menu slot: a chocolatey coffee with some subtle fruitiness that tastes great AND interesting no matter how you brew it, no matter your coffee knowledge. Blue Box: The Blue Box denotes our flagship blend, Freethrow. This blend was the first coffee to join our menu and has been a cornerstone for our vision of the perfect espresso. Freethrow’s flavor profile always offers a strong base of milk chocolate, usually from a majority component of a Central or South American coffee that changes depending on harvest season. It’s complemented by subtle fruity notes, often from a naturally processed secondary component. Whether enjoyed as a straight espresso, filter brew, or paired with milk, Freethrow pleases specialty coffee heads and casual drinkers alike. You’ll find this coffee on espresso at our cafes every day.
To preserve freshness, we recommend storing all coffees in airtight containers and consuming them within 30 days. However, if stored properly, you can still achieve quality results up to 60 days off roast.
