Workers’ Comp came to be when we wanted a year-round coffee tailored to those that desired a chocolatey, simple, all-purpose cup that didn’t contain the fruity nuance that can be found in our staple blend, Freethrow. Driven by a tasty, washed Honduras, we love pulling this coffee on espresso and brewing it up on drip, especially since it holds up to milk extremely well, and we find it incredibly easy to dial in for consistent results every time. Just like a solid insurance policy, Workers’ Comp has always got your back.

Yellow Box: The Yellow Box always houses one of our Year Round offerings, Workers’ Comp. This blend is perfect for those who enjoy a coffee similar to Freethrow but without the fruity undertones. Expect a rounded flavor profile with deep chocolate notes and an intensely sweet finish, all delivered by a slightly more developed roast that’s far from oily. The “darker” qualities of this coffee are brought on by the coffees we source, always leaning toward chocolatey and sweet, with a roast profile that emphasizes sweetness over acidity.

To preserve freshness, we recommend storing all coffees in airtight containers and consuming them within 30 days. However, if stored properly, you can still achieve quality results up to 60 days off roast.
