Join us for a cozy (and only slightly spooky) evening at The Book Club with our very first Book Cub event — a Halloween-themed storytime and craft night made just for little readers!

We’ll be reading The Little Ghost Who Was a Quilt by Riel Nason, a sweet and funny Halloween story about a ghost who’s a little different, and learns that being unique can be something to celebrate. After the story, kids will create their very own ghostly quilt craft to take home.

This family-friendly night is designed for kids ages 4–8, and includes a Halloween-themed snack and a drink of their choosing... hot chocolate made by the barista, juice, or chocolate milk. Sparkling and bottled water will also be available.

🎟️ Tickets: $5 per child (includes storytime, craft, snack, and drink)
👩👧 Adults: Each child may bring one or two grown-ups with them. At least one adult must stay for the entire event! Please do not leave your children unattended.
📅 Date: Thursday, October 30
🕕 Time: 6:00–7:15 PM (doors open at 5:45)
📍 Location: The Book Club in Mission, KS

Pajamas and costumes are welcome! Come for the stories, stay for the giggles, and help your little ghost create some handmade Halloween magic before bedtime.

Seating is limited, so grab your ticket now to make sure your little one has a spot!
